I'm a slacker......and our new rodent!

This is our new "addition" to the family, and yes his name is Remy!

Ok, with great encouragement from my friend Jana, I am updating my blog. do you ever feel like there hasn't been anything too exciting to talk about, so you don't? that's really where I'm at.

I do though absolutely LOVE most of the new lines from Basic Grey. I think my favorite is Mellow. Recess is so cute too. What's your guy's opinion?

We have a week before school starts and are going to Chicago to visit my parents for Labor Day weekend. It should be fun b/c it's suppose to be perfect weather. We here in southern WI have been getting poured on and major thunder and lightening storms have been happening to the point where I believe 3-4 people have died within the last week by being struck by lightening. It's been crazy.

Just to let ya'll know, I did pass my drug test after doctor approval. It was crazy, I thought I was going crazy. I'm like, I'm not on drugs, just a prescription med. Anyway, the job at the newspaper is going great. I love it, the only thing is I'm not the saviest computer person, so that slows me down.
I'm out!
xoxo~

Yay for your newsy update! First of all, your new family pet is adorable!! We had hamsters once but they escaped and died under the fridge and we haven't gotten any more since then unfortunately. Happy to hear you've been safe up there despite all the rain, hope it stops for you soon. Have fun Chicago and if you see a sign for Harvard, IL think of me....that's where my inlaws live!!!

So glad to see you back on line....and the furry creature living at your house is the cutest !!

We did hamsters, guniea pigs, salamanders and fish and hermit crabs and believe it or not...we actually had caged spiders that were huge, found in the woods and made egg sacks containing 400 eggs each (x 3= way too many eggs)that ended up with our science teacher and she LOVED the whole project for her kids.....Anyhow, glad you have a new pet....the girls will have so much fun !!! Put a keenex box in it's cage and it'll have a blast !!.....and I'm thrilled to hear that you love your new job !!
